What does Original Medicare include?

Original or “basic” Medicare includes Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance).

What if I am working past 65?

Many people are working past age 65 and have to decide if it’s best to stay on their group coverage and coordinate with Medicare or transition fully to Medicare.

What does Medicare Part C mean?

Medicare Part C is Medicare Advantage, a form of private insurance for people already enrolled in Original Medicare.

How do I enroll in Original Medicare?

Parts A and B are enrolled through Social Security online or at an office; other coverage can be discussed with an agent.
